Paints for exterior use

Maxifas® SN

Silicone façade paint

Characteristics and purpose:

Maxifas SN is an environmentally friendly, high-quality façade paint based on silicone resin. It is characterised with high coverage ability and resistance to uv radiation and atmospheric agents. It is easily applied and adheres well to substrate, has high vapour permeability, exceptional water impermeability, elastic resilience and hardness. It is used for protection and decoration of mineral façade surfaces. Applied for decoration as finish coating of interior and exterior mineral surfaces. It is produced in white colour and can be shaded in Maxima mix system, in shades recommended by manufacturer. It is applied to surfaces after well performed preparations.

Application mode:

Surfaces that are being coated should be free of dust, grease, crumbly parts and old coatings. Prior to application of maxifas sn, prime surfaces with Maxisil SN primer. Drying time is 6 hours. Apply maxifas sn in two coats, whereat the paint is diluted with water up to 10%, as necessary. The second coat can be applied after 6 hours depending on weather conditions, and/or to previously dried coat. Apply by roller, brush or spray device. Wash tools with water immediately after use.

Application temperature:

From +10°c to +30°c. The product must not be used at working temperatures below +5°c.

Consumption:

0.3–0.4kg/m2 in two coats, depending on substrate preparation.

Shelf-life:

12 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight. Keep out of children's reach.

Maxifas® ST

Silicate façade paint

Characteristics and purpose:

Maxifas ST is an environmentally friendly, high-quality façade paint, based on potassium glass, acrylic and silicone binder. It is characterised with very high alkaline resistance, very high vapour permeability, water impermeability, resistance to uv radiation and atmospheric agents. It is easily applied and adheres well to substrate. It is applied for decoration as finish coating of interior and exterior mineral surfaces. Due to its exceptional characteristics it is recommended for restoration of old buildings. It is produced in white colour and can be shaded in Maxima mix system, in shades recommended by manufacturer. Wash tools with water immediately after use.

Application mode:

Surfaces that are being coated should be free of dust grease, crumbly parts and old coatings. Prior to application of maxifas st, prime surfaces with maxisil st primer and dry for minimum 24 hours, and/or 48 hours depending on weather conditions. Apply maxifas-a st in two coats, whereat the paint can be diluted with water up to 10%, as necessary. The second coat can be applied after 12 hours depending on weather conditions, and/or to previously dried coat. Apply by roller or brush.

Application temperature:

From +10°c to +25°c. The product must not be used at working temperatures below +8°c.

Consumption:

0.3–0.4kg/m2 in two coats, depending on substrate preparation.

Shelf-life:

9 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight. Keep out of children's reach.

Betakril®

Acrylic concrete paint

Characteristics and purpose:

Betakril is acrylic paint for concrete, highly water impermeable, stable to atmospheric impacts and wearing out. It is suitable for painting concrete surfaces not plastered, firm lime-cement and cement mortars as well as for painting fibrous-cement slabs and concrete roofing tiles. Coating is resistant to uv radiation and atmospheric agents. It is not endurable to high mechanical loads but is partially resistant to effects of diluted acids, bases and other chemicals. It is produced in nine basic colours: white, grey black, ocher, blue, oxide green, oxide red, purple and brown, and can be shaded according to maxima mix system shade chart in shades designated by f let-ter.

Application mode:

It is applied to dry, hard and clean substrate which is previously impregnated with maxikril primer or betakril diluted with water in ratio 1:1. Betakril is applied in two coverage coats. The second coat is applied after drying the first coat for 6 hours. Coverage coats can be diluted with water up to 10%. Apply betakril by brush, roller or spray device. Wash tools with water immedi-ately after use.

Application temperature:

From +10°c to +30°c. The product must not be used at working temperatures below +5°c.

Consumption:

0.3–0.4kg/m2 in two coats, depending on substrate roughness and absorption.

Shelf-life:

12 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight.

Maxifas® color

Façade paint – intensive shade

Characteristics and purpose:

Maxifas colour is a high-quality acrylite-based paint, light stable pigments and quality fillers. It is characterised with good adhesion to substrate, excellent coverage ability and good vapour permeability. In all climatic conditions it is resistant to impacts of atmospheric agents and uv radiation. Maxifas colour is used for protection and decoration of the interior and exterior surfaces (concrete, flexible mortar, chipboard, masonite), as well as for shading maxifas, maxipol and maxidis. Maxifas colour can be used as independent wall paint. It is produced in all shades according to “paints and plasters” shade chart. It is not recommended for painting fresh, yet un-carbonated lime and lime-cement substrates.

Application mode:

Substrate onto which maxifas colour is applied must be hard, clean and free of poorly bonded parts, dust, water-soluble salts and other impurities. Remove mechanically old paint which is not well bonded. Level larger uneven surfaces with gletolin s compound for skimming exterior walls. Prior to applying maxifas colour, impregnate walls with maxikril, according to manufacturer's instruction or with maxifas colour diluted with water in ration 1:1. Apply maxifas colour in two cov-ering coats, whereat the paint can be diluted with water up to 10% to 15%. The second coat, at optimum conditions, can be applied after 6 hours, and/or onto previously dried coat. Apply maxi-fas colour by brush, roller or spray device. Wash tools with water immediately after use.

Application temperature:

From +5°c to +30°c. Not to be applied during strong sunshine, wind, fog or rain.

Consumption:

0.3–0.5kg/m2 in two coats, depending on substrate roughness and absorption.

Shelf-life:

12 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight.
