Façade paint

Characteristics and purpose:

Maxifas is a quality acrylite-based paint. It is characterised with good adhesion to substrate, excellent coverage ability, vapour permeability, elastic resilience and hardness, resistance to atmospheric agents and uv radiation. It is used for decoration of the interior and exterior surfaces of concrete, flexible mortar, aerated concrete, asbestos-cement, etc. It is not recommended for painting fresh, yet uncarbonated lime and lime-cement façade substrates. It is produced in white colour, and can be shaded with maxifas colour according to „paints and plasters“ shade chart, as well as in maxima mix system.

Application mode:

Substrate onto which maxifas is applied must be hard, clean and free of poorly bonded parts of dust, water-soluble salts and other impurities. Remove mechanically old paint which is not well bonded. Level larger uneven surfaces with gletolin s compound for skimming exterior walls. Prior to applying maxifas colour, impregnate walls with maxikril, according to manufacturer's instruction or with maxifas diluted with water in ration 1:1. Apply maxifas in two covering coats, whereat the paint can be diluted with water up to 10%. The second coat, at normal conditions, can be applied after 6 hours, and/or onto previously dried coat. Apply maxifas by brush, roller or spray device. Wash tools with water immediately after use.

Application temperature:

From +5°c to +30°c. Not to be applied during strong sunshine, wind, fog or rain.

Consumption:

0.3–0.5kg/m2 in two coats, depending on substrate roughness and absorption.

Shelf-life:

12 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight.
