Rough acrylic prime coating

Characteristics and purpose:

Rologrund is a rough acrylic prime coating, microreinforced with synthetic fibers and filled with quartz sand. It is used for priming the substrate prior to application of glue, levelling compounds, decorative plasters. Rologrund makes substrate rough, and/or increases its roughness which provides better adhesion for later application of materials. It is applied on smooth concrete surfaces, gypsum cardboard panels. It is especially recommended prior to application of roloakril. It is produced in white colour as well as shaded according to „plasters“ shade chart as well as in maximix system.

Application mode:

Surfaces to be coated should be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust, grease, crumbly parts and old coatings. Dilute Rologrund with water up to 10%, as necessary. Apply by brush or roller in one coat. Wash tools with water immediately after use. Drying time is minimum 12 hours.

Application temperature:

Optimum application temperature is from +10°c to +25°c. The product must not be used at working temperatures below +5°c, as well as during the rain, fog, strong sunshine and wind. Freshly applied surfaces must be protected against external impacts for minimum 24 hours.

Consumption:

From 140 to 160g/m2 depending on substrate roughness and absorption.

Shelf-life:

12 months in original, well closed and undamaged package at temperature from +5°c to +25°c, protected against direct sunlight.
